"Pros: We liked the location and helpful staff at The Rubenstein, and David made us some great drinks at the lobby bar while giving us tips on what to do and see. Cons: The room needed blackout shades; we could almost read by the ambient street light. There was lots of street noise (to be expected; Nola is a city) so be sure to pack your earplugs. We stayed for 4 nights and would have appreciated more surfaces or drawers to unpack and settle in. The room was surprisingly spare and we lived out...

"The hotel was simple and clean. If you are looking for a quiet place just outside the quarter for a good price this is it. Coffee and pastries were served in the morning in the great room as well as a private coffee machine in the room.24 hour staff and security. I would recommend this place."
