"This is a nice little inn, and we found the room to be nice, though quirky bathroom set-up. That said, we enjoyed the room and thoughtful amenities. Location is very handy for Point Reyes and all the outdoor stuff in the area. Our only major issue was checking in. The staff member at the front desk told us he was on his break and that we could come back in 20 minutes. At that time, he could help us. "Great location for us to be close to family in Novato and Petaluma. This was our second stay here and it has been great both times. Check in was fast and efficient. Rooms were very clean and quiet. "It was quiet; I needed a place to stay before surgery the next morning. I did not like that there was no soap to use to take a bath and had to go ask for some from the front desk. Then the bathtub plug did not work. It was a challenge to take a bath needed before my surgery."

"This place is magical. A gem hidden in the forest away from city life. And it feels lovingly crafted; every piece of decor and ambience and atmosphere and even the food selection in the mini convenience store - nothing feels random or like an afterthought. The walking trails are lovely, the outdoor seating is wonderful. The rooms and common spaces are meticulously clean and cozy. I wouldn't change a thing!"

"the red-haired woman who checked us in was hostile with my questions about parking. she also accused my family member of stealing from the mini mart behind the counter when he was looking around and didnt buy anything, when he was holding something from home. it was weird to accuse and run him down when most places assume positive intent. other than that it was a nice hotel with great amenities"
