Ok for the night
we stayed here for one night,before visiting the orang utan the next morning. location is next to the orang utan plc and that's it.nothing else in the neighbourhood,unless u drive 30-45 mins to sandakan city. the only restaurant in the property close at 9pm so after you are basically trapped in the room. its not safe to even walk in the property at night,its dark and we are in the jungle. the property needsTLC maintenance,its run down. the pool close at 5pm but i will not use the pool,its small,old and again run down and smelled like toilets nearby as soon as u enter form the small bridge to pool area. breakfast is very simple,very basic,not very good either. dinner menu is large but nothing taste good. we are a group of 6,we ate there the worst was their burger uneatable. room was creepy,their towel was disgusting. cant wait to check out the next morning. i guess its ok for one night due its convinient location attached to orangutan plc. if given another time i will skip this hotel and stay at Sandakan city.
