"It was good, for the social part that is. It’s a good place to meet people but I wouldn’t stay longer than a week here tops. You get bored of the atmosphere and drinking all the time digs into your money and you don’t want to do a lot the next day. Overall it was pretty good, met some nice people. But it is a party hostel. "If you want somewhere basic and well located in Chiangmai old town, this is the place for you. Staff were so friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a lovely area walking distance from lovely shops and places to eat and book other excursions. My only complaint would be that the room was quite basic, there was a lot of noise from other AC generators (despite the one in our room being turned off whilst we tried to sleep) and the shower was not hot. "We really enjoyed the industrial design of this location. The patient and friendly staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was nutritious and delicious every morning. The recommendations that all of the staff gave us were phenomenal. Matty was amazing, Patty gave us a solid Thai Massage recommendation. And Nathan showed us around the market near the university. If you are looking for a overall relaxed environment, with social events if you choose to do them, this is a great spot."

"I quite enjoyed this hostel. It was quiet when I stayed there but it wasn't very busy at the time. There is a large lounge room with a computer that can be used and an LCD TV that I was told could be used to watch Netflix. The receptionist was very friendly and spoke very good English.
