"Belle Mount is a magical place! We absolutely loved the experience. It was raining during our visit which only enriched the pleasure, hearing the rain on the roof and in the forest. We didn't get to use our private pool because the water was freezing during our mid-Jan stay. The room was huge and the outdoor bathroom was very nice. "This hotel is an amazingly unused resource. We understand it’s only got a small beach but we needed somewhere to stay on the island and it was perfect for us albeit a little far from Basseterre town Centre. The staff were really friendly and helpful and we couldn’t fault their attitude. The room was huge even though we only wanted a room we ended up with a suite and it was spacious with a really comfortable bed and air-conditioning in all rooms. We had a hire car which was essential."

"Great location, next to MUA & the beach (secluded). Very clean room, not a single insect!! That's rare. Had a very good sleep assisted by gentle sea waves. I would like for them to invest in mini fridge. Other than that, highly recommended. "

I would say not much is walkable, maybe a couple restaurants and water taxi dock are walkable, other restaurants, beaches, etc require transportation. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will be back!"
