"Check in was a disaster. They didn't communicate through email any check in instructions, they use an App that I don't have or use. Once we cleared that up it took almost an hour from the time I got the the property to figure out their demands to get an expensive deposit made until I could get a code to get into the place. The management company the owner uses for check in is a disaster. Poor customer service, didn't respond to most emails. The place itself is small and basic which is fine....

"The staff was very helpful and friendly. But the house was unsafe and it was dangerous for fire no fire escape from the room. The room hadn't been readied there was no bed linen and it wasn't ready to go into so we had to wait for a hour. "

"We loved staying in this house. It had absolutely everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We used the house as a base for Alton Towers which was a 25 minute drive away. We was left a welcome pack of goodies which was very much appreciated, and noticed the little touches like travel cots and high chairs, and a play room at the back of the house so perfect for families. There was room on the drive for 2 cars. We had a little issue when we was there and I was able to call the owner right...

"We enjoyed our short stay (2 nights) at Malthouse Farm Cottage. The owners were helpful and friendly, the location is surrounded by beautiful countryside and there is an excellent pub a short distance away. However, the description of "Open Plan" Studio by Alton Towers is totally misleading and without SATNAT we would not have found the property. Even the next door neighbours (when we stopped to ask) did not recognise the property by that name.. I suggest you review how you list this...
