"Very pleasant hotel, although a little tired but the accommodation was fine and the staff friendly. The hotel was opposite a nightclub and Ann having stayed on Saturday night heard nothing. No exit problems from the nightclub although there was evidence of discarded food, chips and the like, but that did not spoil our stay. Would certainly go back again. "We had a very nicely renovated large room on the second floor of the main building, looking out onto the pedestrian High Street. A little noise from the party-goers, but got to sleep fine. "The staff was very friendly but I have to admit the internet even at times when I could connect was so weak, I couldn’t even access my emails. The shower has a power saver machine on it but the problem is the hot water cycles from cold to warm to scalding and around and around so you constantly have to dip under and out.
