"This is an older property as others noted but that said, we had a better experience overall than we have had at properties that cost hundreds more. The front desk staff was welcoming and the room was spotless and spacious. The on-site restaurant Chadwicks served huge portions of delicious food. The included breakfast was MUCH better than many we have had at chain hotels. I would easily rate this 12 stars on a 1 to 10 scale. Highly recommend "

"The location is convenient to the freeway. The staff was friendly and helpful when I checked in. Our room was clean but overall the room ans hotel feels old and dated. Our room had a musty odor as well. We requested a “dog friendly” room so that may have been the reason for the smell. I did appreciate the ground floor room with slider for easy access to take our dog outside. "

"Indoor pool & hot tub open til 1am, complimentary breakfast was great, service was excellent, & they even let me do late check-out at 12p for no extra cost. The Stratford Inn is themed around the Ashland Shakespeare Festival & the building itself is historical, so it isn't like...super fancy or "modern". It has character. They have a whole cafeteria where they serve breakfast in the morning with lots of tables, chairs, and windows as well as a cute little outdoor patio area for in the summer...

"Lithia Springs is one of my favorite places to stay. The rooms are well appointed, staff is great, the grounds are beautiful, they serve a lovely breakfast and there are healing mineral waters everywhere. It's also 5 minutes from downtown Ashland, along with being accessible to the freeway. It's in a odd location snuggled in between commercial business, however when you are on the grounds it fades away."
