The place is beautiful and very unique. The funicular was not working, that made it a hike to get to the spa (only reason we have it 4 stars). The staff is super friendly.

There’s so much to say about this lovely place and all of the wonderful staff that works here. We came here for our honeymoon and they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was everything we wanted and more. Back in the states, I worry about being an inconvenience to the staff, however you can tell that the staff here WANTS to help you. From the moment we walked into our room, they had decorated it with flower petals and made sure we had the jungle view room (as we kindly requested). It was beautiful and they truly made us feel like King and Queen. I don’t usually write reviews, I’m usually a silent watcher, but I had the best experience here and felt like I just had to share! :)

This place was a dream from beginning to end. The staff was incredible, food was amazing, and the overall property was absolutely beautiful. It was a perfect honeymoon location.

The views here are sensational. We requested a room change as our initial room did not have the best view over the jungle the staff were very accommodating. The restaurant food is beautiful I highly recommend the smoothie bowl at breakfast. This is the perfect place to relax it feels secluded and very private but it’s also a great base to go exploring from. They offer a shuttle service to Ubud which is a bonus. We went out on day trips with a private driver and it was a wonderful place to come home to after a day of adventure. The staff are fantastic, I highly recommend the Sanna.

We searched every corner of Bali. As you may have found by now, the options are expansive. Well the hard part is over. Sanna Ubud is undoubtedly & unequivocally your new home. Sanna has it all: ambiance, character, energy, spirit, dedicated staff, views, walkability, cleanliness, amenities, spa (a dramatic understatement), world-class gourmet revolving menus, dinners with cultural shows & music, room service, bidets, shuttles, concierge for activities & excursions throughout all of Bali, points of contacts with the activity vendors, infinity pools w/ built in waterfalls, pools in your villa, mini fridge, hair dryers, robes, slippers, mosquito nets for the beds (not that you will at all use them), rain fall style shower, outdoor stone slab baths in your villa, outdoor patio, CRISP air conditioning, in-room safes, bars, walking paths, buggies to take you around the property, a welcoming ceremony, english-fluent staff to cater to your every whim, and chiefly... the most friendly, loving, caring, generous, selfless, enthusiastic, & professional staff. As first-time visitors to Bali, staying at Sanaa Ubud was an unforgettable experience. The property is absolutely stunning—tucked away in the lush greenery of Ubud, it offered a peaceful and serene atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. The rooms were beautifully designed, combining modern comfort with traditional Balinese touches. What truly made our stay exceptional was the staff. Every person we encountered was warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. The setting was so tranquil that it felt like a hidden oasis. From the peaceful gardens to the beautiful pool with breathtaking views, everything about the property invited us to unwind and soak in the beauty of Bali. This resort is beyond 5 stars. The property is immaculately well kept, the staff are attentive and will go out of their way to make sure you are happy. No request is too big. The resort is lush, green and at a standard that isn’t seen very much at resorts of any size.

Property is beautiful and staff is very welcoming and friendly. The spa services are amazing. The downside is the rooms and spa are hard to get to due to a broken lift. You have to walk down many flights of stairs to get to the spa and lower rooms. It is not handicap accessible at all. Additionally when we checked in our room was overbooked so they said they “ upgraded” us to a room with a better view of the jungle. However this meant we had to climb down more stairs and the room was smaller than the one we had booked. They offered to switch our room after two nights however it was while we were going out on a tour and we were unable to see the new room/ pack up our belongings. We only had a limited amount of time to choose to move and unfortunately missed them time due to not being at the property.

We stayed for 3 nights on our honeymoon, the staff were amazing and always keen to help. Facilities are amazing and the setting was Beautiful, we wish we could have stayed longer.
