"Its an ok older style hotel . Booked stsndard room and a suite. After standard argument re Expedia VIP upgrades they upgraded 1 room supposedly to a river view, well youncould see the river at an angle and the remaining outlook was dreadful. I chose thisnhotel because of VIP and wishbi had stayed at my noal choice of Shang or Banyan Tree.Breakfast was a bun fight but good selection. My last 4 stays at Anantara brand havent been great, and will be giving them miss in futureThere are far better...

"Reminiscent of the Peninsula (which it was in a previous life, we were led to understand), this beautifully appointed hotel, with above and beyond service and great location was a terrific recommendation. We will pass that forward. "
