"Stay here if you want a relaxing visit near Ubud. Takes an hour and half from the airport and 30ish minutes from the center of Ubud without traffic. The grounds are beautiful. "The hotel is excellent and the staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and polite. They made it a joy to stay there. The rooms are spacious, well kitted out, regular cleaning and private pool maintained daily. Few if any complaints. Some parts of the stone fabric look like it needs replacing or cleaning but it’s highly functional. The views from the pool bar area are v pleasing and the New Year party excellent. "Wonderful two nights escape at a legendary classic resort with a quiet, natural and serene setting, superb service from the staff ( Mr Sutrisna, Mr Eka and many others at Reception, restaurants, housekeeping and concierge ). Located at the very heart of Ubud makes it easy to visit many dining and sight seeing places nearby. However, food could be better in terms of choices and taste. Otherwise, a relaxing and memorable short stay and I would love to return again soon."
