"I love staying in Ocean Shores especially when theres a storm. I love hearing the sound of the waves and the wind. My buddies and I planned a trip for us and my son and my nephew. My nephew unfortunately wasn't able to attend due to being sick. We had never stayed at The Grey Gull until now. I am very pleased with our stay. I love the condo style unit and the decor. "This stay was absolutely amazing! One of the best places we’ve ever stayed at with a price that was unbelievable! Granted I know it’s not during peak time but this hotel would still be worth it!"

"The property was a good price for Seattle. We were able to find street parking during our three night stay. The common area was nice, although we never used it. The biggest bummer was not being able to use the television during our entire stay. The remote was broken and didn’t work when we put new batteries in. We let them know on the first day and the response was “I’ll let the housekeeper know.” We wouldn’t stay there again although it’s not a bad option."

"This was a beautiful hotel. I have a bit of an issue with germaphobia and this hotel was incredibly clean. The price was fantastic it was in a safe neighborhood and the staff who run it were 10/10. I would absolutely stay there again and plan to in the future"

"What I didn’t like: - This property is going through some kind of transition from a short term rental to a hotel? As a result, amenities you would normally find in a hotel are not offered here. For example, the front desk is only open M-F from 8a-6p so if you need help outside of those hours, you’re SOL. - Cleaning service is only done on a bi-weekly so when we stayed here for 5 days, the room got pretty dirty and we had trash and dirty towels piling up. - The portable AC included in the room...

"I have stayed several times at the Canyo River Lodge on the Yakima River. Every time I am reminded of how beautiful the Yakima River canyon is and how easy a drive it is from Seattle. The lodge itself is a world class facility right on the river. The suites are lovely, the staff is excellent, and the restaurant has wonderful food. In addition there is one of the finest fly shops at the lodge that I have ever been in. They have guides for fishing, sporting clays, and hunting if you need help...
