"This hotel is great for long-term accommodation as it has cooking abilities in a full-size fridge. But it was nice for one overnight as well. The building itself is a little older and beat up, but it was clean. It was right off the highway and the area felt safe. "

"I arrived in Seattle by train and had to get rid of my luggage so that I could attend a Super Bowl Party. The property had large lockers available with key pads which allowed me to set my own code. When I returned to the property, I was stunned when I walked into the room as there were floor to ceiling windows on two sides of the room with expansive views of the Seattle skyline. "What I didn’t like: - This property is going through some kind of transition from a short term rental to a hotel? As a result, amenities you would normally find in a hotel are not offered here. For example, the front desk is only open M-F from 8a-6p so if you need help outside of those hours, you’re SOL. - Cleaning service is only done on a bi-weekly so when we stayed here for 5 days, the room got pretty dirty and we had trash and dirty towels piling up. - The portable AC included in the room...

"I have stayed several times at the Canyo River Lodge on the Yakima River. Every time I am reminded of how beautiful the Yakima River canyon is and how easy a drive it is from Seattle. The lodge itself is a world class facility right on the river. The suites are lovely, the staff is excellent, and the restaurant has wonderful food. In addition there is one of the finest fly shops at the lodge that I have ever been in. They have guides for fishing, sporting clays, and hunting if you need help...
