"Well located and convenient"

"Historic properties can sometimes show wear and tear. Not so with the Palmer House. The lobby is spectacular. The rooms, while small, are clean and well kept. despite the large numbers of visitors, we never had to wait very long for any meal. the lobby bar can be loud and service there could use a few more people, but overall a delightful place. Couldn't be easier to get to from the airport either!"

"It’s an old building so it was a bit loud - easy to hear other guests Also, the towels are old and thin - for this type of property I would definitely recommend new, thicker towels. The poor quality towels seemed cheap."

"Location was great, easy access to so many things. We walked everywhere, did shows, tours, all a quick walk. We had a corner King Suite and it was great, all windows, great views. Amenities were all great but a pool/hot tub might have been nice. It is loud since downtown. Lots of sirens, horns, but still slept great overall. Would stay again. "

"The staff were great from check-in to check-out. Everyone was very friendly, even the staff member I encountered in the elevator who was off duty was super friendly. The hotel and our room were very clean and beds were comfortable. The air conditioning in our room and the entire hotel did not appear to be working very well. Despite turning the temp down to 68 our room never got under 77 and our room felt cool in comparison to the rest of the hotel. We booked through hotels.com and shows laundry...
