"I stayed here in Sept/24. Obviously, I enjoyed it enough to give it another try. I am an adamant non-smoker. On my last stay I brought it up. Reception tried to rid the room of smoke but it really didn't help as it was thick as soup. I mentioned upon reserving I really didn't want to go through that again. "Good location outside of town. Parking in gravel lot down the street not bad. Short walk and a bit dangerous for unloading luggage in front of hotel in traffic. Owner very nice and very helpful with suggestions of what to do. Other staff helpful in suggesting restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Beach is rocky, but water refreshing. Bed linens could use updating and futon in our room needed to be replaced, but overall a descent place to stay for the price."

"This is a rather quiet family-style hotel, great to stay with kids or as a couple that is not really into partying. The hotel is a bit shabby but has all the basics needed. The lovely thing is that it has multiple cottages and is on the first line to the seaside. We only had breakfasts and they were very-very basic, to be honest, and very routine. With such a variety of fresh fruit on Crete, it was weird to get only the watermelon, and you had to come on time to get it :). The worst thing...

"My reserved and confirmed room was not available because another guest did not check out. They made arrangements for me to stay at an apartment/hotel about 1/3 mile away. New room was fine and proprietors there were very nice (Sea View Apartments). But, a hassle since parking is so hard to find and spent lots of time corcling to try to find oarking spot near first place. The lady at the desk was accommodating, the boss who had to take me to second place was i diffetent at best."

"Very friendly staff, cozy little apartment very close to Rethymno. We asked for breakfast on the second day and we got enough food for breakfast and dinner that day. The Apartments are a bit hidden in a very narrow street which was at the beginning difficult to find, but once there, was actually convenient with a spacious parking lot for guests."

"Yiannis apt was a great place to stay and relax, with a very short walk to the beach. The apartment was always clean and the manager was easily reached if there were any issues. We would recommend it to our friends and family."

"Room #3....the crazy staircase room. Okay, but bathroom not fine. As noted by pretty much everyone there is no staff. Pictures of property were shot with insane lighting....it’s basically pretty dark and VERY modest. Location on Apple and Google maps is wrong. There are SO many different names for this place, but none of them are found on my map apps. There is no plaque/name on the front door. Allow an extra hour to communicate and await arrival of distracted and not really welcoming...
