"Beautiful hotel with old fashioned service. Close to shops, theatres, restaurants and public transport. Ideal location for a trip to Melbourne. We dined at the in house restaurant the first night and the steak was terrible which was really disappointing when I'd paid $48 plus an extra $10 for vegetables. "

"I enjoyed my stay in a very spacious and modern one bedroom suite. The hotel was a short walk up from Southern Cross Station and close to the city’s free team system. A minor criticism was the hotels recirculating air system. I always could hear a fan running, despite air conditioning being turned off. Nevertheless, it is a great place to stay in Melbourne."
