"Loved the hot tub and private garden as we had 2 dogs. The walk in the forest was lovely and convenient as on our doorstep. If we were being picky, the road leading to the property was at times quite bumpy, so caution with speed is required, but what the property itself has to offer made up for it. It is a home away from home and a good place to getaway from the hustle of life."

"We stayed in Buttercup cottage. We were greeted by our host Rachel and made to feel very welcome. The cottage was spotlessly clean with everything we could need. The bedrooms were upstairs, a twin room which looked out over the countryside and also had velux windows for star gazing and the double room with velux windows. Downstairs was very spacious with a comfortable lounge, lovely dining room with a big table to eat round and take in the views, great kitchen with everything you need and so...

"Bramwood cottages are beautiful and located in a fantastic central location, close to everything in the town which we loved. We did book the Tack Room cottage, but on arrival we had been moved to the Coach House without any explanation resulting in us trying to access the Tack Room with the entry code we were given when someone else was staying there, which was quite embarrassing. The cottage itself was beautiful, and had everything you could possibly need, but we found comfort to be lacking....

"The holiday cottage is fabulous, great location and really well equipped. Only one complaint about the actual property being the bed mattress in both bedrooms is soooo uncomfortable. We tested both and in the end used the second duvet as a mattress topper, but still had sore hips and a bad back all week! There is a lot of flights of stars in the cottage, so you need to be pretty mobile to stay here. Our big complaint is that the property is advertised as having parking! Parking should mean...

"Absolutely lovely cottage, clean, cosy and in the perfect location. We have had a great time. Very steep stairs inside the property and a fairly short bed so if you are super tall with mobility problems it might be difficult but for us it was perfect."

"Esk View Cottage is a fabulous base for exploring the Yorkshire Moors. Its location overlooking the river is stunning and the sound of the water very peaceful and relaxing. It is a 90 second walk from the NYMR station of Grosmont which we made great use of and the steam trains gave a really charming feel. Will definitely return. "
