We liked the idea of some department stores being within walking distance. The food at the Placery was reasonable and tasty. The staff was informative and helpful. The service was outstanding.

We stayed for 6 nights. When we arrived the room was dirty. Cherry pits on the floor, red stains on the bed spread and comforter, sticky carpet and foot/ table stool. we requested service 3 times and it didn’t happen. I emailed the manager, send pictures of the room and it got cleaned. Partially. There were still cherry pits on the floor and sticky floors. Manager apologized and offered to give me points. I asked if we can get room cleaned every day( not sure why I have to ask , isn’t that part of the hotel service?). Never heard from the manager again, room was never cleaned again, had to go to front desk to get toilet paper and to restock the room and towels. Unbelievable badly managed hotel. Wouldn't recomend it

Nice staff but basic amenities were overlooked
We booked a 2-room/3-day stay and did not receive housekeeping service once. On the second day, still dirty, we spoke with the front desk to request service at (5pm). We returned at 8pm and asked the same request. Then again at 11pm. In total we had spoken 4 employees and were effectively told that it was not possible to receive service as housekeeping is only available by request, which we had already asked 3 previous times. Not only were we not informed of this unusual policy at check-in, but there is no signage in the room or at the front desk to inform guests otherwise to what is standard hotel procedure. Additionally, on arrival the shower shampoo/soap was empty. One other consideration is safety - our room was on the ground floor facing the rear parking lot and during the course of our stay, there were multiple people passing our room/window (and loitering in parking lot) that were clearly intoxicated/homeless/drug users. This negatively affected our comfort and feeling of safety.
