"We stayed there for one week on a two month vacation. It had been a great vacation with each hotel having its own charm. This one was no exception. We stayed on a bungalow close to the beach. The resort is by itself so it is down the hill from some good restaurants. The hile up the hill is probably only thing that was not perfect, you will probably want to rent a motorcycle which are available on site. Food was good. The service was incredible. All the people working were incredibly friendly and helpful. The check in had a beautiful view of the ocean and the pool. The only downside is it added two stories of staird to the walk every time you come and go. The view is great but i would have had the entrance at ground level. That is just me. Now to the incredible parts. The resort is a narrow resort on a hillside. When you get to the beach is rocky. Great for snorkelling but not so much for swimming. But what they dont tell you is the beach attached is about 1/2 mile of beautiful white sand beach with beautiful water, palm trees and fantastic swimming. We did not see more than 10 people at any given time on that half mile of beach. It was amazing. Like a story book. I hare to even share the experience because i would like to keep the secret to myself. Best beach experience i have ever had and i have been to quite a few beaches.. it was cool and so private. We hated to leave. I could have lived there. "

"I saw this place on a you tube video and decided I wanted to book it for my trip to Koh Kut. Loved this for many reasons. Room looked right over a bay that went out to the sea. Breakfast had options. We chose fresh fruit. Got that and some toast each morning. Coffee was available with a machine to make your own if you want. This was right by Peter Pan Resort. We would walk out there and lay on the beach (no access to chairs) and swim. Sandy bottom and very shallow. You can get free use of kayaks here. We ate at Peter Pan for lunch or just got a drink there. Fire show here also every other night. Free! The woman who ran the White Bird was always helpful…renting a motorbike, making sure we got picked up for the ferry, adjusting our breakfast foods. Not lots of rooms here, so quieter. Easy to walk to shops, massage, or our favorite restaurant…Mermaid (get the fried snapper…one of my favorite meals of this trip!). Happy with this place and would recommend!"

"Paradise! Beautifully landscaped, own tiny beach where you can swing over clear waters, gorgeous pool, super peaceful, nice restaurant, lovely, clean, round air-conditioning posh "huts', good hot showers and large dressing area. Plus the sweetest people working there! Very helpful. Only downsides, the rooms had no full length mirrors, and as I'm short, I could only ever see the top half of my head before I went out. PUT SOME MIRRORS IN THE ROOMS PLEASE! Also, you need to hire a bike/scooter, which the reception will glady organise for you, to get to any other cafe/ bar if you wanted to dine elsewhere, which made us feel slightly like hostages to their good, but somewhat-for-Thailand expensive restaurant. Still, compared to Europe, it's a bargain. And it is PARADISE! I spent my whole time there smiling."

"The staff were really nice and helpful. The only thing I had an issue with was the extra charges. For instance, there is a charge for ice and food to take away. If you break a glass 200 thb. Also the kayaks were at a cost ok no problem (even though I read they were free) but the paddleboards were expensive and they were in a pretty bad state…actually good for the bin as they were missing chunks and really not safe for use. Summing up I would still say this was a very good hotel to stay on the island. It was a perfect place in a bay to swim,snorkel,and relax"

"I was greeted by a very friendly staff and stayed in a very clean and modern bungalow located on one of the best beaches on the island , I would recommend it and will definitely be back ! Some the best snorkeling on the island is located at that beach and it’s a great beach for paddle boarding and swimming "

"the property is very clean and beautiful. the common area is beautiful and clean. the beach is nice and quiet. there is not much wind and waves on this side of the island, so it is good for kayaking. there are many flowers and trees on the property. it is just beautiful. the room itself is also spacious, clean and beautiful. the bed is very comfortable. we booked 3 rooms. everything in the room works, and everyone was happy with their rooms. what we didn’t expect was the food. the breakfast is amazing. it is not like a normal hotel breakfast. everything is delicious. we also had dinner there everyday, and every dishes we ordered was delicious. all 6 of us love having meals there. all the staffs are friendly and very helpful. we all enjoyed our time there. we definitely recommend this place for anyone going to koh mak"

"I spent 8 days at this resort and had the time of my life. It is a little off of the beaten path, but I really enjoyed the remote location. The staff members were more than welcoming and helpful. They had a whole list of activities to enjoy during the stay including kayaking, fishing, snorkeling, motorbiking, a fire show, and much more. The restaurant offered a tone of delicious options as well. "
