"Arrived in heat if afternoon but no one available. Hidden in labyrinth of alleys and tunnels. Small dark room mezzanine level. Hard to know if it was clean or not. Very dim. Don’t expect everything to work eg a/c or shower. The intimacy of a Riad means you hear everything happening throughout the house during the night at 2 or 4 am. Bring earplugs.French or Arabic only. While we didn’t have too much time in Meknès or the riad itself, we did enjoy both the town and riad.
