"Excellent Period property. As an older building we were unsure what to expect but it’s immaculate throughout. Staff were incredibly friendly and we were delighted to be checked in 3 hours prior to the arranged time. Couldn’t be more conveniently located a minute walk from the castle and the Main Street where all the shops, bars and restaurants are. They don’t have onsite parking but there is a very safe pay and display car park 3 minutes walk away which was only £14 for 24 hours. That’s much cheaper than any other city hotel I’ve ever been to. We will be back. We really enjoyed our stay and the city. "

"We really enjoyed our stay - the room was good, clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was lovely, lots of choice and well presented, we ate dinner and breakfast, both very good. The staff were all very helpful and friendly , but one young man, by the name of Joel was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for him, very friendly, pleasant and helpful. In all, a very nice stay."
