"I want to get the obvious out of the way…They are currently renovating all of the balconies. The ones that are complete - look beautiful. This did not bother us a bit because they are not putting people in those rooms and work stops at night anyway. It would be the only improvement I was going to mention. "I booked 8 months out a single room for a solo trip! Cute room, but was a little bummed about a twin bed and room with a partial view from under the roof; but all was good. The main view from the hotel lobby/restraunt made up for it! No shuttle to the hotel so had to get a cab because I didn’t get a bus card until I checked in. Otherwise the staff was very nice and helpful! Hotel food was great! Would recommend! "

"The buffet breakfast was amazing and included in the room rate. We had beautiful weather and took the ferry ride to Interlaken which we highly recommend doing. The walk to the falls is a must. Altogether a wonderful experience in this historic luxury hotel."
