"Breakfast was continental. Toilet commode was too close to door in bathroom. Not a good setup, but the room overlooked the pool & hot tub, had a fireplace in room, and a sliding glass door to deck. The outside heaters were out of propane, but overall a nice room close to Aquarium and shops and restaurants as well as Highway 1. A little tricky to get to (had to make a series of right turns to get to the entrance."

"We found the room clean, the bed very comfortable, the in-room fridge and breakfast included convenient, the fireplace nice for warmth and atmosphere and the grounds well maintained with beautiful flowers in hanging baskets, balcony flower boxes and potted topiaries. We felt comfortable and safe in the hotel location and enjoyed it’s close proximity to restaurants, art galleries, shopping, a small local market next door and walking distance to the beach for us who enjoy long walks for exercise. The only negative is that the walls are thin enough to hear a guest showering and sometimes toilet flushing in room next door or above. Fortunately, the rooms on either side of us were empty most of the time during our three-night stay."
