Things to note: Checking was easy at a self checkin machine we only saw one member of staff at breakfast. This was not a problem for us. You are right next to a train line, bring ear plugs as there is no air-con so you will want the windows open in the summer and the freight trains at night are LOUD! Ear plugs fix this though. "My daughter-in-law and I enjoyed a wonderful vacation visiting precious family and friends. "We spent one night here whilst touring around Switzerland. It’s a lovely hotel on the side of a hill overlooking Lake Walensee. Hotel is in good order. As with virtually all hotels in Switzerland, there is no air conditioning so it is recommended to take a mini fan with you if visiting in the middle of summer. "
