We had an excellent stay at the Doric. Great value for money .. Room was clean. Some parts of the hotel are a bit dated but it was clean and thats the main thing. Bar area is lovely. Entertainment was fab for all ages would highly recommend for a family night away .

Perfect for families really good indoor pool nice and shallow for kids. Stayed in family suit best family room i have ever stayed in with separated area for kids and aduts so you dont have to go to bed when the kids do lovely bathroom with large corner jacuzzi bath and shower. We have stated at the Doric on a few occasions and as a family of 4 (kids 10&8) we find it fits our needs well. Our stay was very enjoyable and situated in a great place to see the Christmas illuminations. All staff were really friendly and polite and everything was very well organised. The food and dining area was perfect and the entertainment in the evenings was fantastic. Very convenient parking. Overall fantastic stay but if I had to find one very small and petty negative it would be the bathroom needed a blind , however 10 out of 10 and we will be returning.
