"Our trip to this hotel was overall a pleasant experience, however a couple of items regarding this hotel need to be addressed. 1. The carpets areceorn and dirty, they need changing or at the very least cleaning. 2. The hot water in the shower takes too long to heat up (approximately a minutes) 3. "Very clean unit, all the amenities were there as promised. Our original unit was damaged just before our arrival, the property manager shifted us to a new unit in time for our arrival. No hiccups and no lost time on our vacation, super service!"

Overall an excellent property."

"Didn't stay here much, a friend used it a few nights though, and I visited. Totally my mistake, last minute looking after a puppy meant I couldn't use. Such a real shame, because I'd have had an amazing holiday here otherwise."

"Beautiful, elegant hotel with lovely public rooms, ie bar, restaurant. My room had a great sea view. The wall paper was a little dated, but nothing to worry about. When I ran a bath the water was brown - I guess because of either old pipes or recycled rainwater? But it would have been good to have a note explaining it in the bathroom, so I felt reassured to take my bath (I didn't!). Staff were exceptionally nice and helpful on the whole. The views, the walks and the convenient sporting equipment were great, looking forward to using them next visit."

Two break

"Ignore the negative reviews the hotel was excellent. We arrived to find ample parking and the positioning of the hotel was perfect with a walkway right into the harbour area. The hotel looks like it has had a fairly recent upgrade and was in good condition. We had a nice room with a king size bed and view over the harbour area. Plus the room had a minibar and tea and coffee facilities. Had dinner in the Jetty restaurant the first night which was good washed down by a nice Sicilian Pinot Grigio. Had breakfast in the room on the first morning which arrived exactly on time and was exactly as ordered. The second day we had breakfast in the restaurant which had a free continental breakfast which offered ample choice but for an extra £10 we upgraded to a full English which was freshly cooked. The staff were all very friendly and helpful which enhanced our stay. Overall a nice two day break and if returning to Padstow would definitely stay at the hotel again."
