"I jist spent a week at this property with family and friends. Everyone loved it. Literally the only thing I didn't like were the outdated restrooms. Everything else was awesome. It had a few pools, water slides, and a lazy river too. The beach was long and perfect for strolling. The food was excellent and the staff were amazing. Friendly, hard-working people. Couldn't ask for more. The airport was so close, I walked to it to pick up my car rental. Really nice resort. Would recommend to anyone. "

"Location: the location is superb, right by the Pitons, very close to Volcano, Soufriere, Sugar beach and hiking trails. Food/Restaurant: food is good but not exceptional, limited choices and varieties. Room for improvement here. The view from the restaurants is incredible. Services: The staffs are the friendliest people, they went all the way and beyond to accommodate, help and serve. I couldn't thank them enough. Rooms: We stayed at #K (Gros Piton). It has 2 floors. 1st floor has a sofa, mini bar/sink, dining table/chairs, 2 chaises and a heated plunge pool with a jaw dropping view of both Pitons. 2nd floor has a bed, closet, bathroom and a long bench balcony overlooking the same jaw dropping view. Just love this room. I enjoyed every minute in Ladera and will certainly return to this paradise in the future. "

"This was my second visit to the Bel Jou, and it was wonderful. The staff were the best of all the hotels I've ever stayed at. The general manager Dean walks around every day to stop and talk to the guests, he truly prides himself on the service his team provides and genguingly wants to make sure his whole team make the guests as comfortable as possible. I couldn't fault one thing, to the cleanliness, maintenance, entertainment and overal service with a big St Lucian smile. The shuttle service to Castries and the beach is a massive plus and its free, what more can you ask for. All the staff from maintenance, bar restaurant, reception, cleaning staff, were exceptional. But I have to mention my girl Princess what a woman, Devon, Sam, reception ladies and we missed Andrea. So many more to mention and Dean the general manager whom is the only hotel manager to walk around greeting and talking to his guests every single day. I've never experienced that in all the hotels I've stayed around the world and I've travelled far. So on that note, thank you, Dean and all the staff at the Bel Jou. You made our stay memorable, and we will definitely be back. "

"Colin and the team at Villa Beach cottages are absolutely brilliant. They gave us a warm welcome, lots of helpful information, organised tours and were on hand for any issues. Villa beach is an immaculately kept small development of quaint cottages. Most are set up as with two rooms, one downstairs and one up. I'd recommend an upstairs room for the higher ceilings, privacy and view but both are great. You get a very quiet beach to wander along only shared with sandals resort. The sea is a little murky compared to other places on the island but that means there are no rows of loungers and other tourists. Relax here, enjoy the view and take advantage of the great staff."
