Take a tour of the church’s basement to see the remains of a previous Roman church that stood here. Hints of the former church are scattered around the cathedral, such as the large section of granite column near the entrance. Today, the church is a popular pilgrimage site.

Wander through the church to see its crypts, cloister and chapels showcasing various works of art from the 17th century and beyond. Admire Gothic archways and the vaulted ceiling over the triple nave.
