Beautiful and friendly hotel
"This hotel has the most friendly staff I've ever experienced! We had a wonderful time, despite an electricity cut due to heavy snow! The only downfall was heating issues with the pool/jacuzzi meant we didn't take advantage of those facilities."

"Beautiful grounds with amazing views. Lovely facilities which were clean - the gym and pool were both really clean and well equipped and maintained. The room was comfortable (a few signs of use but nothing major) and clean, a good size and importantly very quiet - had an excellent couple of nights ..."

A nice place to stay
"Took a little bit of a gamble after reading some of the reviews but very glad we did. Yes, the hotel could do with a bit of tlc in places but, on the whole, it’s a very pleasant place to stay, excellent staff and very good food. Thoroughly recommended"

"Lovely quite country location, off-street parking & all the comforts of home. Near train station if public transport is required, however noise from trains was not an issue. 'The stables is ideal for a couple with small kitchen if wanting to cook."
