"Very spacious hotel and nice surroundings, although the hotel is looking old and tired and much in need of refurbishment, as old carpets and lift have heavy pungent smell, and unpleasant when moving around the hotel"

"We stayed for 1 night , the room was slightly dated but was comfortable and had everything you need, the room was clean but there was some stains around the room and bathroom however you could tell the room was clean. The cooked breakfast was good and the cold breakfast was great with a really nice selection , i would definately stay again if i was in the area."

"When we first arrived at the hotel the restaurant was very busy and we thought we might have a bad experience but we were quite wrong ,it was very good. Our room was very comfortable with a lovely bed and the shower was good too. Would like to have had a thermal spa but it was all booked up ,so remember to book in advance. When we left in the morning Diana on reception was very helpful and got a nice young man to carry our cases to the car. Car parking is free for guests which is a big plus"
