"Hotels near train stations are not always ok. This one was great! It was updated, bathroom and cooking area functional, equipped and clean and the hotel staff was exceptional. The hotel is actually a short walk from Gare de Lyon but there is a shortcut behind the station (where the coach busses park) that leads to the street where you can find the hotel. "Excellent staff, supermarket and Metro next door. Housekeeping a bit haphazard. Bin from previous occupants not emptied. Chipped bathroom sink, with hair in it. Policy is not to supply plug for kitchen sink! This is bizarre. Despite these niggles, I recommend this property. "

"This wasn't a bad place to stay for a night. The staff were welcoming and friendly and we were able to check in earlier than advertised. The room was a good size, had a well equipped kitchenette with a full size fridge and a table, desk and a couple of chairs. The bathroom and shower was a bit run down. It was all clean enough. "Even though the restaurant and bar was closed during the weekend we had local bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walking distance that were friendly and did great food. When going back to Paris, this will be our go to hotel. The room was clean and very comfortable and the staff very pleasant although we didn't have to interact with them much. Hotel is close to all transport links so it was really to get to the city centre very easily. We had a great time."
