Beautiful views. Large rooms with comfortable beds. Reasonable rates and friendly staff. Needs some updates here and there, but overall, a nice place to stay. No continental breakfast, but maybe a nice big pot of fresh coffee would of been appreciated rather than the little weak brew they have in the room. Dunkin was across the street, so we didn't have to go far for a fix. LOL

Just love this place! My son and I have stayed at this hotel 5-6 times over the past four years on our way to and from Des Moines. There are so many reasons we keep coming back. Convenient location, wonderful, attentive and friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, good heat and AC, safe and quiet area. Lots of places to eat with many locally owned. We especially love the lake outside the property with all the geese. Beautiful and relaxing place and my son and I highly recommend staying here.
