"Staff was helpful and welcoming. Relatively clean facility. Capsule area was very quiet and clean, with pulldown screen for privacy. The pillow style (ideal for back sleeping) not so much for changing sleep positions in the night (not a deal breaker). Public facilities were also relatively clean and easy to use during stay. "The facilities are pretty basic but you get what you pay for. Toilets and showers are clean and tidy, common areas are also very well maintained. "

"The cleanest and most spacious pod I have stayed in central Tokyo. Of course I’m rating this as a capsule hotel as it comes with most of the setbacks of a capsule (basically having to share everything lololol). Having said that, I think the only drawback was the space for luggage as the lockers were very narrow and even my wheelie duffle didn’t fit inside the locker. Everything was super clean and staff very friendly. "

"What a wonderful property !! I stayed in the 8th floor (all female dorm) and it was clean and very quiet. They had amenities (aside from toothpaste) in the washrooms so you don’t need to bring anything if you don’t need. They have lockers and luggage storage but i ended up keeping my luggage beside my bed. Overall the staff were very friendly, and it was a good location to catch transit and walk around. "Ueno is a vibrant interesting area. Lots of good food. Very near Narita Skyliner train station, which makes it an easy place to stay. This hostel is clean and simple. Suits solo traveller for good price in Tokyo. Very safe, but also lockers for valuables and plenty of luggage storage. Bed (capsule-type thing with curtain door) was roomy enough for what it is. I’m 6ft2 and it was fine."
