"i would like to complement Carlos. He was the concierge that was at the hotel when we checked in. He was one of the highlights of our stay. He definitely made our stay enjoyable as he made sure we knew our way around places to eat. He even booked a dinner for us for one of the best seafood restaurants to eat in the area. "Lovely staff on quiet road in south part of island. Limited but nice dining options within walking distance. Wifi is weak, so not good if you need strong wifi. Great value for pleasant and quiet stay. Take bus, taxi, golf cart or bike to north more developed part of island. Seeing many fewer bicycles and much higher overall prices on isla since two years ago, but hotel was a great value for price"

"We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a one bedroom unit with a view of the ocean which was amazing - we could see the eastern Caribbean side of the island and also the Cancun shoreline from our unit. The views from the balcony were breathtaking. It is located in the southern part of the island so you would need to rent a golf cart or utilize taxis to get around. We love having the golf cart to explore the island so we were very happy with the location. The staff was wonderful and friendly...
