"Very friendly owners, arrived at night there was heavy rain but got picked up from the airport promptly. Because of the weather event I couldn’t go out for dinner so they offered to prepare something to eat for me. The room is basic but clean and for the price excellent value. "

"Stayed 2 Nights. 1/27-28 Had a long layover in Columbo On the 28th which started at noon. We booked the room for 2 nights to ensure that it would be ready when we got there and we would not have to wait for a check in time. Planned to check out around 11 PM The that day for our flight. Hotel is listed as right near airport, and had a shuttle. Actually it is about 10 minutes from the airport in a residential neighborhood with nothing around. No restaurants, stores…nothing. "I arrived at the hotel at around 5 am and the owner kindly let me check in at that time (I had paid for the previous night) so didn't have to hang out at the airport forever after an extremely long trip to Sri Lanka which I had read was an issue at other hotels. There was tea and coffee in the room but no heating kettle, so you couldn't actually make coffee even though instant coffee was sitting there was there which was a bummer. ...

"Lovely hosts giving you a truely personal experience. Access to next hotel's pool is a nice touch. The room layout was odd but they will be undergoing renovation soon so hopefully reworking the internal layout. Otherwise clean and tidy and nice view of the garden to the beach. "We walked in an apartment with dust and dirt on the floor, mould behind toilet door, mould on kitchen glass tray. They said this apartment was closed for some time. Housekeeping staff should be trained to check on details. Would not recommend for families who are particular about cleanliness. The management needs to take feedback seriously without giving excuses for lapses."

"stayed here on the last day of our trip. This was an exceptional hotel. Clean, modern and the attention to detail is surperb. From the moment we walked through the door Shamin and Nethmi looked after us. They made check in a breeze, cold towels on arrival and a lovely refreshing drink. They took us to our room, and showed us around the magnificent hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel, the roof top pool and restaurant/bar have exceptional views over looking Colombo and the ocean. Wish I had to stayed longer. "
