"Great location - great amenities! The room wasn’t ready in time for our 3pm check in which was disappointing but was ready shortly after. We needed some supplies restocked during our stay which they brought right up but everything was one at a time so we had to contact them repeatedly which became annoying but otherwise everything was great. "The property does not have the usual amenities like coffee, etc. But cafe is right next door. Facility is very clean and the room was quiet and comfortable with the exception of some radiator heating problems, but staff amd manager right there to help. All staff was welcoming. Will definitely use on my next trip."

Great Stay

"The hotel's facade and lobby are simply old school gorgeous! Clearly a lot of history here. Our check-in was swift, and the man who checked us in was thoughtful and kind. Unfortunately, the heater in our initial room was broken, and it took some time to get a manager then maintenance in there. It could not be repaired with us in the room, but the maintenance guy said the front desk would call us shortly with the new room number. After an hour wait in a room that was actually colder than next to the front doors in the lobby (I never took off my coat, hat, or scarf), I called the front desk. I had to come down. Agh. Miscommunication there someplace, and we were FREEZING. But we got a very nice alternate room on the same floor, and we were very happy with that (heater AND a better view AND more room!) Central to Manhattan, across the street from Starby's and Liberty Bagel, attentive staff, and excellent restaurants right on the premises! Will stay here again when in Manhattan."
