"The hotel is very handy from the railway station. The bar area was a delight to relax in, with the chap playing the baby grand. The chairs are comfy but low for eating from (for me 5'4) The restaurant is colourful and the breakfast was good. I was in a room at the back of the hotel and the decor was simple, the room was fine though (i like the old furnitire) and warm enough for me (im a cold person) but maybe a little overpriced. "The location was fabulous. Check in could be hugely improved. We were given no information about the bars, restaurants, opening hours of the spa, time of breakfast. We spotted other guest wandering around aimlessly like ourselves. Bar/restaurant work really hard and food was delicious. Drinks priced well for hotel. Bed was uncomfortable as were the pillows. Room was spotless. Spa was amazing, will visit again. "
