"In many ways, a standard business hotel--but one in an exotic and interesting location. My room was fine, but the views of the lake and the hills/mountains opposite were really nice. Just be sure to keep your sliding doors locked: there really are monkeys and they really can get onto your balcony -- even though that looks impossible at first! "The hotel was clean and well furnished. We had a balcony room which had fabulous view of the river, a great place for watching nature around you. It was very peaceful. The pool area is good with separate pool for toddlers. This also overlooks the river. The staff were excellent. All polite and helpful which you find a lot in Sri Lanka.
