"Sweet little hotel out of the super touristy area of town but just a few minutes walk from it, with plenty of dining options along the way, and very close to the water's edge, parks and famous Ushuaia sign. But bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper, because if you get the front side of the hotel, you'll be woken up by locals on their motorcycles. Breakfasts were a mixture of European and North American, with something to please most. "

"Our first room was moldy smelling with a window in a kind of maintenance shaft. Fortunately the staff was able to move us to a better room one floor up which was larger and not moldy smelling. However the towels and sheets are very old (not so white anymore), so there's only so much the cleaning staff can do. The pool and garden area were a bit run down. "The cabanas have stunning views to the surrounding lake and mountains. The grounds are beautiful, well kept, quiet and you can observe wildlife as well. The owner and the staff incredibly helpful including offering rides to the airport for more convenient rates than a regular taxi. You do need a car though if you stay here as it is isolated from town. The cabanas are comfortable, the owners make sure you have good heating and the kitchen is functional.
