"The grounds are beautiful, but the service is lacking. They are very understaffed. While, the staff was typically professional. I would not describe them as engaging. Calabash is average food at best, and the staff gets overwhelmed very easy. The food takes forever. We did have a wonderful time in Barbados in general and did not spend much time at the resort. "We stayed one night at butterfly beach before our flight home. Very spacious rooms with good amenities for a holiday. Due to us returning to Barbados for our wedding anniversary, the wonderful hotel receptionists provided us with a bottle of cava, which was a lovely touch to round off our holiday. Would recommend. "

"ECO Lifestyle and Lodge was a beautiful and relaxing escape, far from the tourist crowds. The breakfast at the restaurant was incredible; the service from the staff was fabulous; the grounds were impeccably kept. We even got to meet the owner because she drove our "shuttle" to the other side of the island.
