"This is a lovely hotel in city that otherwise is not that lovely. We had excellent service from the concierge and appreciated that. The staff was friendly and helpful and we enjoyed drinks at their bar and lunch at the restaurant. We also enjoyed the pool area. The hot tub was not working but the pool itself was very warm. "

The outdoor pool is shut in November, so no place to wash my feet by the outdoor pool if there is a shower there or not (not sure). Luckily, I can wash my feet by the surfing school shower facility. "The Valentines dinner was amazing. The ambiance that was created was above par. The staff at the front desk was helpful and polite. The facilities were nice. Loved the ability to walk to the beach from the hotel within a minute. I missed the notification that the Spa was under construction but the front desk did provide advice for alternative spas and discounts for services at the new place. "
