"Sleeping inside a giant wine barrel is probably the most unique stay we've ever had. The shower and toilet is downstairs below the barrel and could be difficult for those with limited mobility. I think they have other barrels with the the bathroom on the same floor. The staff was extremely helpful and they made our winery tour reservations for us which was added to our room bill instead of paying the winery directly. "The property is very well located. It is a beautiful building with comfortable rooms and a great service. Breakfast buffet is awesome. Never had a comparable experience in another other hotel. The amount of food and the variety was huge including chilean typical plates. The personnel is very helpful and knowledgeable. "The property is a bit tired. The staff was very accommodating. I was a bit mislead by the number of facilities on the website. For instance there is only on restaurant not several. The water pressure in the bathroom sink was minimal and the swimming pool was huge but dirty. Also not many chairs by the pool and it is not on the property but adjacent to it (300 yards). That being said, the staff made up for all the shortcomings of the property. "

"I'm not sure why this hotel is rated so highly. I would call it just so-so. The rooms are in bad need of updating, and it took forever for the heater to warm the room. Perhaps it's the best thing in San Fernando? I was hoping that since the property had a conference center the staff would speak English, however that was not the case.
