"This was not a great pick The bed was awful, very old and squeaky, the radiators were roasting and the dial did not work to adjust it, we asked at reception and were told someone would fix it, we were there 2 days and no one showed up so we slept all night with both windows open and we’re still far to hot, we were also at the front of the hotel so didn’t get much sleep with the noise of the traffic. "The hotel was very warm throughout it was hard to sleep. The bed was done and the mattress leaned to one side. The food was really bad, we had to send it back. Ordered veg curry and they brought chicken, they changed it and all I got was a watery curry sauce full of onions and the rice was clumped together. "Great location in centre of Kells with convenient secure parking to the rear of the hotel. Genuinely friendly and helpful staff on the front desk. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable in the newer rear block of the hotel. Our only small gripe was that the hallways and the rooms were far too hot for our liking!
