"Great property located in a neighborhood about 20 minutes from downtown. The staff are all amazing. Across the street is one of the best restaurants and three blocks down is another nice restaurant. This is a 100 yr old bldg. If you are thinking American hotel amenities, not that kind of place. This is old world charm with 12 ft doors and 20 ft ceilings on every floor. "The property was a taxi ride from the main area of Havana but taxis were organised very easily. the rooms and en suite bathrooms were large and the bed very comfortable. shower a bit temperamental but it didn't matter. The house was full of old and interesting artefacts and the main guy spoke really good English and was very helpful. breakfast seemed to be whenever we wanted it and was basically anything we wanted. Very good coffee! Our stay was overall excellent"

"Must stay here! We will be staying at VOYA for every Havana or Cuban getaway. This hotel is like no other. From the very moment we arrived, the check in experience was smooth and were greeted with the staple drink. (Allow VOYA to Arrange the airport pickup, very worth the extra fee and hassle free). "most unique place I've stayed in -20 ft ceilings 12ft doors large comfy rooms with AC foood & bev available but tourist priced - other food & bevy available within walking distance host is very personable but will pass on misinformation - we asked about laundry service - they took it and was not ready upon check out - asked about massage service offered and stipulated which day ... went to book it and was not available Property is high priced for the area "

"Lovely place to relax and unwind! The room was extremely comfortable and well appointed. I really enjoyed the pool and the rooftop terrace, a pleasant surprise! I was warmly received by the family, who were very knowledgeable about the area and helpful in all aspects of my stay . This being my first solo trip ever, that meant a lot. The casa is close to the main part of the town, all very walkable . I will definitely be back when I'm in Viniales again. "

"Beautiful property and very affordable. Rooms are gorgeous and very tidy, and we had a great sleep here for our last night in Cuba. Pretty close to the revolution plaza and some good restaurants. Staff were helpful in arranging transport. Definitely consider staying here if you are visiting Havana Vedado."

"We had a wonderful stay at the El Candil hotel in Havana. The hotel is spotlessly clean, wonderfully decorated and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Reception and general help by Rosabel & Guiomar is priceless, backed up by Nestor at night, all brilliant guys. The rest of the staff are also lovely, helpful and attentive too. Roof top bar is serves great food and drinks, bar and food staff again - super. All in all we would thoroughly recommend the hotel as your Havana base. David & Alison from London "
