"Was in a refurbished Atrium room. Was comfortable and fresh. However furniture table on balcony had bad cup stains which was a bit of a let down. Atruims currently being refurbished The hotel seems a bit dated in all as most of these grand hotels. Some Atrium balconies could do with a fresh coat of paint or a good scrub. "Lovely place. We stayed with our small dog for a couple of nights. Facilities are amazing, golf, spa, swimming, gym, etc. Set in beautiful, peaceful grounds with easy access to Douglas (20 min drive) We had a 3 course meal in one of the restaurants and not only was the food amazing and very reasonably priced for the quality but it really felt like they went the extra mile... and were happy to. "The hotel was lovely, staff were all very friendly especially the cleaning staff, the room was immaculate as was the rest of the hotel. We booked a sea view room for the weekend from the pictures online thinking we would have seats looking out to the sea however the room simply had a high window, we could see the sea from it though! "Lift not in use. Booked before we knew. Main reason we booked as both of us struggle with stairs. Booked through hotels .com. and they state lift not in use overnight. My fault as i didn't check on the hotel site. They did show lift out of action. Lesson learnt. Bathroom very small and dated. Room basic as expected, clean and had kettle etc. Breakfast was included. "My favourite hotel in Douglas and very near to everywhere I need to walk to for work. Friendly, lovely big rooms (they upgraded me free of charge to a huge room as I stay often). Great view over the sea front. Breakfast is quality - good ingredients, cooked to order. Very happy with everything."

"Massive thanks to the staff. Check in was between 2PM and 6.30 PM, which wasn’t convenient for me, so they gave me a security code to get in the front door, and left my door key in an envelope inside so I could arrive when I was ready. Also looked after my luggage while I was out for the afternoon. Owner is really helpful with guides as to where to go, and how to get there. Nothing seemed too much trouble.
