On two different occasions we encountered things with the hotel which didn’t align with our hotels.com booking. So I would not trust what the booking company tells you. We booked a room for 3 people and were told the room only slept 2 and then when we arrived we were told that parking needed to be reserved ahead of time while hotels.com just says parking...

"The elevator to my floor was broken for two days which meant one had to carry up and down one flight. Also initial announcements on how to get to the different floor was non existent for 12 hrs, and one was left in searching how to get down… no clear signature to stairs etc…"

"Like all Intercity hotels, the Berlin hotel is only a few yards from the main station, which means it's a great hub for exploring Berlin. The fact that all Intercity hotels offer a ticket for free public travel on trains, buses and trams can't be understated - we used ours every day, including on the train back to the airport. A big shame that there's no tea or coffee-making facilities in the room or extra bedding. Adding these would make a really good hotel experience a great one. Our room...
