"The only reason on property conditions that i gave it 3 stars was because it is under construction and i hope the painting is not completed in the room i was in. It needed a little more attention to details around trim, fixtures, etc. Not a big deal overall."

"The pictures online were of the hotel, ive been leary because sometimes the pictures are a bit of an exaggeration of the hotel or not even the same hotel. The hotel was clean and staff was nice. The breakfast was what to be expected of a free breakfast. We will be staying here again when we make these trips. "

"There was an unpleasant odor in the lobby and no air conditioning in the hallway, but the AC in my room worked well. The desk clerk was business-like--don't expect to receive a warm welcome. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I appreciated the mini-fridge but the microwave didn't work. "The Tiskilwa Inn is nicely restored mansion originally built in 1848. It has 5 guest rooms, all recently refurbished in the finest style. Our first night we were the only guests so it felt like our own private stately home. I want to go back so I can stay in each of the other four rooms."
