"This is our second stay at this hotel. It has fantastic onsens, great Japanese buffet, and the rooms are large and comfortable. Kinu-Tateiwa Otsuribashi, a famous suspension bridge, is right behind the hotel that leads to great sceneries. Hotel is approximately 12 min walk to Kinugawaonsen Station, and offers shuttle bus in the morning to the station by request. Next time we visit Nikko, we definitely go to this hotel again! "

The facility is new, a huge living & dining area compare to Nasu where we stayed a year ago. "Feels very upmarket from the entrance all the way to the room. The Japanese room I stayed in felt extremely large; like a 5-star hotel in Tokyo. The washbasin area looks modern and is well equipped with amenities, including a face steamer. Separate toilet is large. Bathtub is deep for a good soak with a nice view of the outside. Parking is limited in front so you need to drive further in or up the slope. May be inconvenient if you are alone with heavy luggage and arriving late. Some of the...

"Buffet was excellent with an enormous array of food. Private onsen was approx ¥3300 for 45minutes. There is quite a lot to do around the local area, we stayed one night but easily could have filled in two days."
