Further when booking a cab - we were given some pushy drivers trying to charge us the same price as big lux car and actually driving us in a small car. Had to speak to reception again to sort it out. some Food ran out at breakfast with no refill for 30 minutes had leave and had a lovely little hair in the scrambled eggs - we joked it was Vitamin H. "Reception staff were adequate and not as friendly and welcoming as other places. Restaurant manager and waiter plus the barmen Liam and Abdul were great and especially the Irish chef in the restaurant, he was just fantastic. Carpets in the hallway and rooms need to be replaced and it is oils feel more like a 4 star. "

"A nice hotel. A fair price for a room. The rooms are very small. No where to place a large suitcase except on the bed if you want to open it. I’d stay here again. "

"Basic but comfortable, clean and welcoming hotel. Extremely well located for E4 motorway. Restaurants and shops on the door step. Very helpful staff. Lovely pool. A room for a family of 5, a rarity! Very dog friendly, including the restaurant. "

"Very nice welcome by reception staff who was very helpful with everything. Clean yet basic as one would expect. Plenty of stuff to do in there. Maybe not the best stop for a quiet time as it is quite a busy place. Was there with my 2 kids (9&12) and we all loved it."

"Good standard hotel in calms surroundings with short walk to Grand Place. Comfortable bed. Gym closes early on weekends, which is a minus. No access to sauna but to a lukewarm splashing pool and a small yakuze which is busy most of the time."
