"This is the second time we have stayed here. A fab modern hotel right in the centre of Torquay. The rooms are well equipped and cosy, the lobby is comfortable with a well stocked bar and friendly staff. Looking forward to our next trip back"

"We had a lovely one night stay at the abbey Inn... Very friendly host... as it was our anniversary they had even decorated the table for us for our evening meal.!! Very clean, but very quirky especially the room, but that's part of the charm of staying in an inn.... Amazing setting right on the River dart with seating outside to have a pint or two. A temporarily limited menu but still a very good choice which was very tasty and very reasonably priced. The room itself was clean and tidy, the bed was shall we say was very bouncy and a very soft mattress, however slept well. We have stayed there several times before and we will do so again. 10 minute walk to buckfast abbey and another 15 to 20 minutes walk into town. Breakfast choices and quality was excellent!! "

"Very enjoyable stay with so much to do onsite. Lovely old room, lots of character. Everything clean. Separate bathroom an advantage in some ways as reduces noise and is close by and allocated solely to room. White Hart does really good food and we loved being able to go to the cinema so easily. "
