"We stayed overnight as we were at wedding being held there. The wedding started at 3pm, we asked if we could check in early so we could get ready before the wedding so we didn't get our clothes creased during the hour drive to the hotel. We had to pay an extra £25 to get checked in at 1pm. The amount we paid for the room and the amount my friend paid for her daughters wedding i was shocked at how much was charged. "I expected to be able to have a meal as the details indicated a restaurant but there was no evening food available. As they had few guests they also closed the bar at 7.30 pm. Odd as when I booked it indicated that there was limited availability. The hotel is pretty basic. The room was clean though and decent breakfast. This has slightly dented my trust in the accuracy of details provided on Expedia. I had been travelling around the north of England and this was the least value for money."
